REPORTS TO:     Controller



Under general supervision, manages the accounts payable function within the organization and provides administrative support to the department.  Primary liaison for affiliate/partner transactions and reconciliations, and manages accounting, facilities and legal document archives.



1)      Audit, record and pay vendor invoices, credit cards and expense reports.

2)      Maintain payables information

3)      Process 1099 forms

4)      Maintain W-9 certificates

5)      Provide A/P technical support to staff

6)      Prepare month-end close entries and reporting

7)      Maintain reconciliation and reporting for affiliates and partner organizations

8)      Provides back up for Accounts Receivable processing

9)      Perform administrative duties including scheduling, taking meeting minutes and preparing packets.

10) Perform other duties as assigned



This work is performed in a moderately noisy office environment, which can include stressful situations.



Sitting for long periods of time at a desk.  Constantly looking at a computer screen.  Movements frequently and regularly using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.  Must be able to see, hear, and speak



Computer, printer/copier/scanner/fax, calculator, telephone, typewriter, shredder



Experience with MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) is preferred.


Associates degree with background in accounting or other financial experience,  Accounting degree preferred.   A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated.


Must be able to pass any required drug test and maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

The incumbent must have computer skills.  Experience with the following types of software and/or Windows based applications is preferred: word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
