GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, leads team of revenue professionals to engage and retain all GLI investors, and convert prospects into investors.  This is a sales and sales management position.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

1)      Lead a professional Sales Development Revenue Team

2)      Prospect, process and close on new money revenue deals

3)      Develop and execute the investor revenue team budget for existing and new investors

4)      Assist the revenue team in setting and reaching their team and individual goals

5)      Forecast and manage revenue team and expense budgets. Approve revenue team expenses.

6)      Interact and network extensively with core and top investors, high-level executives, board and community members and volunteers

7)      Coordinate with the Vice President, Top Investor Development on management, measurement and reporting of the Top Investor portfolio and the GLI 2020 campaign including reporting of process and metrics

8)      Analyze and manage market and investor data to understand customer segments and needs and achieve investor revenue and engagement objectives

9)      Develop the investor revenue plan and account management strategy, working with revenue team to develop their plans and portfolios, and in conjunction with revenue team and other departments, execute a comprehensive investor onboarding, engagement and tracking strategy

10) Lead revenue team meetings and training sessions, as well as 1:1 mentoring of revenue team members for individual development and overall plan attainment

11) Serve on the Leadership Team as an active participant

12) Perform other duties as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This work is performed in a moderately noisy office environment and can include stressful situations.  May be required to drive at night or in inclement weather conditions from time to time.  Extensive time during, and sometimes after, business hours will be spent outside the office networking and calling on investors and prospects.

 

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT:

Computer, smart phone, calculator, copier/printer/fax/scanner, shredder and telephone, van or car

EFFORT:

Talking and listening for long periods of time including standing.  Frequently sitting at a computer terminal.  Must be able to see, hear and speak. Movement frequently and regularly required using wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of senior level revenue generation experience.  A combination of education and experience may be substituted when proficiency is demonstrated. 

·         Leadership skills are primary; demonstrated track record in recruiting, hiring and developing sales staff.  Expertise in sales and marketing, strategic planning, sales administration, decision-making, staff development and finance.

·         Ability to exercise judgment and diplomacy in a wide variety of public contact situations.  Extensive community knowledge is required.

·         Goal oriented, high-energy, reliable in meeting deadlines, well organized and a consensus builder.

·         Strong and proven ability to close revenue generation deals.

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·         Strong computers skills

·         The incumbent must be able to pass any required drug test, maintain a valid driver’s license, and maintain the confidentiality of any information s/he encounters.

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
